Overview
You can easily transfer money to the UK by using wire transfer services provided by the IndusInd Bank. This is the quickest and the easiest way to transfer money to the UK or any other foreign countries.
For using the service, you have to open an account with the IndusInd Bank. However, if you do not have an account with the bank, you need not worry. You still can use their wire transfer service. In this case, before you use the services, you have to provide a few necessary details and information to the bank which include your identity proof, residence address, and the account and other bank details of the recipient.

Under the rules specified by the Reserve Bank of India, you must provide all the information under KYC (Know Your Customer) and as demanded by the bank. Under the KYC rule, your bank will ask for documents that confirm your identity proof and your address. For this, you must submit the following documents:
• Passport
• Voter’s ID Card
• Aadhar Card
• Driving License
• PAN Card

Remember that all the above-mentioned documents except PAN card are also considered as your address proof. In case your current residence address is not the same as in the documents, then you need to give the bank a declaration of the new address.
For account holders using wire transfer service - your account needs to be at least a year old. In case your account is less than a year old, then you need to talk to the bank officials. The bank might ask for additional documents such as
• Proof of any previous/other bank accounts
• A photocopy of your income tax return
Once you have provided these, you can easily transfer money from India to the UK or any other overseas account. You also have to submit an Application-cum-Declaration form stating the purpose of the money transfer. Provide the SWIFTBIC or the SWIFT Bank Identifier Code to the bank. Using the code your bank will identify the account and the bank where the money needs to be transferred.
